mwfaGerasa, mwfqin arabo جرش‎mwfg? mwfwJerash, è una mwgacittà mwgqgiordana, capitale dell'omonimo governatorato.

La città, la quale discende dall'antica mwgwGerasa, è situata sulle rive del mwhafiume Wadi Jerashcite-ref-2[2], che fa parte del bacino idrografico del mwiqGiordano, ed è circondata da un fertile terreno agricolo. Essa si trova nel nord del paese, a circa cinquanta chilometri dalla capitale mwigAmman.
